What time you guys getting on stand. Sunrise for me tomorrow is 7:35 if I recall. I’ll try to climb in about 6:30, maybe a little before. Sometimes I get in earlier.

Sunrise for me would be 7:54 in Gillespie County and I would be in the bowblind by 6:10 or so if I was able to get to my place. Very wet road, so I will wait till Sunday morning.

6:45am for me, 5:45 Sunday with the lovely time change.

Sunrise for me is 7:45. 1st shooting light is 7:15. I'll start walking around 6:45 or 6:50. It's about a 5 minute walk.

6:45 - coffee ready to brew, gear all out, alarm set for 6.

Good luck fellas. I started a new job in September so no PTO or seniority. I'll be here working waiting for pics and stories this year. Lost our lease last year anyway.

Don't forget to pack the TP or a pair of cotton gloves!

It’s been a great morning so far. Dang near got my hunting truck stuck diving to my stand. Had to bust the TP out soon as I got out of the truck. I’ made so much trying to get situated in my blind you’d thought I was blindfolded.

The bad thing about cell cameras. You get to see pictures of shooter bucks at your other stand!!!

Still beats working.

I try to time it so that I get set in my chair about 5 min before legal shooting time.
