I hit Academy three weeks ago for the couple of things I needed. You couldn't pay me to get near there now. However, it would be funny to put some cameras in the ammo and gun counter areas just to listen to all the last-minute Mikes blow there stacks when they can't find diddly-squat.

I have too much going on and I'm going to miss the I10 juggernaut tomorrow, but I'm sure I'll see a little bit out in front of the neighborhood. It's entertaining, especially the guys with 10 months of pent-up rage.

Went by the bow shop to get string puffs put on.
Every swinging sausage was in there. Have they not noticed bow season has been open for a month already?

If you're hunting around Junction, Sonora, or Ozona, buy ice 1st, on the way in. There's usually none to be had by mid-day Saturday. But you old hands knew that.
