I shot this 10 point the other weekend, Saturday 23rd. Not only is he my best buck, but best buck with a bow. 33 yards, perfect shot placement. I didn't get any measurements, but I will when I get him back from mounting. This is my first buck in about 8-10 years or more. Yes, I know I shoot an old Mathews FX bow. It's sentimental to me, so it's hard to part ways with it. I bought it from a friend who passed away. It still shoots very good and is very comfortable to shoot. I found the buck crashed into the tree. He was wedged in there pretty good. 100 grain Muzzy 4 blade broadhead did the trick. I gave up on all the weak mechanical and blade pointed broadheads. This is the best broadhead I've ever used. Buck went about 50 yards.

Congrats on the buck, old bows can go a long time and be as effective as ever. I tuned up an old 6 wheel Bear Whitetail hunter bow a few years ago and it got used and made some Kills that year, not bad for a bow hat was 30+ years old.

Thats a real nice buck. You still hunt the same place you were hunting 2/3 years ago?
Great bucks by any method, but a bow makes it extra special.

Great deer! You're lucky he didn't bust up his rack when he hit that tree.

It looks real big bodied, did you get a field dressed weight?

Yes, he was so dang heavy I could not lift him onto the 4 wheeler! I had to drag him up through the middle of the 4 wheeler to the rear rack. He was VERY heavy. I've dead lifted 150 lb pigs onto the 4 wheeler, so he was much more than that. But no official weight. I don't have scales at our lease.

That's one hell of a buck! Congrats for sure! cheers

And I have always shot the 4-bladed Muzzys and love them. They are tougher than nails and will cut. I actually use a very small file and work the blades over a little to kinda make a rougher edge on them and they really do some damage!

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

Well done, that is one heck of a bow buck. Congratulations on using a bow that has such a sentimental value, that just adds to the hunt.
I still shoot a Jennings AirMaster, just trying to get back up in poundage like I used to be. They are so much more fun to shoot than a crossbow.

Congrats on a great buck. Love the Muzzy broadheads. Going old school with the bow as well.
