Starting to feel bad. The deer in the photos above is obviously younger (to me anyways). I had a couple of prior photos of a deer with a double drop and I thought that deer looked really old, ancient in fact. A trusted source of mine whom I always defer to, made some remarks about the deer being really old. When I saw this new set of photos at a different blind 880 yards away and noting its youthful appearance, I assumed it was a different animal. After reviewing more photos and especially noting the somewhat palmated mass on the right beam, I now must believe they are of the same deer. Freerange, I am ever so sorry to have misled you.
