I found a homemade reloading table that I think is going to work great with an exception. It is a stand up type and I am used to sitting down while reloading. How do you do your reloading standing or sitting and why? I think I will cut the legs off enough to be able to sit while reloading. BTW age does play a factor in life and what we do for fun and recreation. Thanks Daniel

Just get a bar stool and do both. ^^This If I am moving left and right on the bench, I stand. My bench is 8' long. If all my brass is prepped, and primed, and I'm charging and seating bullets I may sit on a stool. I have to move up and down the bench so much, no way would I want a waist level bench, which would put things too low.

I do all of mine standing.

Standing because my bench is also a work bench and table height would be way too low.
Pass the gravy.

I built mine bar stool height. I have a rolling bar stool that lets me move around should I need to.

I use a tall (bar height) table and a stool. When I sit I'd rather not have to bend down necessarily to a short chair.

After trying it both ways I find I’m more productive standing. A tall stool or an engineers chair will allow you to do both from the tall bench.

As already suggested, leave it standing height and get a chair or stool tall enough to sit. I’m more productive standing but more comfortable sitting. If I’m in a hurry I load standing. If I’m relaxed and in no hurry I load sitting.

Well, it appears that I am a minority of one. Looks like I will have to do some thinking about my way of reloading. I may give it (standing) a try, I can always disassemble the bench and cut the legs off. Thanks Daniel

I stand rather than sit any chance I get. I spend 10 hours a day driving and making sales calls. Sounds like a great setup to me.

I look at it like my statement about the 162 gr in a 7mm-08. It can do what a 140 can do, but a 140 cannot do what it can do.
The tall bench can do what the short one can, but the short one cannot do what the tall one can.

Probably Tractor Supply Co, Grainger, lots of options. Get online and search. It may show up and you have to assemble it, but I know you are more than capable.

Mine is bar height. I do most of my loading standing. When I use my beam scale to measure powder charges it is at perfect eye level when sitting on a chair from my kitchen table or folding metal chair.

Mine is bar height and I wouldn't want it another way. Even my kids like it.

I'll have to vote standing height as well. I used to have a shorter one, but found myself wanting to stand and load all the time. Built the standing height bench and almost never sit while loading. Try it standing height first. Cutting the legs off will be a lot easier than gluing them back on.

My single stage and turrets are mounted to boards so I can clamp to whatever table I want, and I usually sit. I use reloading trays and do brass prep and small batches this way. My Dillon 650 is mounted to the higher reloading bench and I always stand, even though I have a powder check station I like to be able to see powder in the case is at a reasonable level whenever possible. I can also clamp the other presses to the bench if I want. I have debated getting one of those mounting systems to move presses around.
