Do you recommend one product over the other for a direct injection valve clean? VW GTI 2.0 TSI. I know it’s best to remove the intake and clean the valves manually but after taking off all bolts but one I found the T30 on the bottom right stripped out. I put it all back together and am going to try one of these two products to get me by until I can figure out the stripped intake bolt. The bolts not stripped, just the T30 head, rusty as can be. Anyway, here’s what I have.

Also, I plan on going through the pcv intake instead of the throttle body. Throttle body is a pain being a turbo.

I prefer Techrolene made by Chevron

I am not a sea foam fanboy, it works fine until it doesn’t

Well I used both, drove the snot out of it after the soaking time. I’m sure it’s not right but it’s way better.

I recommend stanadyne performance formula for cleaning and cetane and the lubricity for lubrication. Run in every tank or two. Been running and recommending for 20+ years.

Direct inject is a little different. All the additives in the world do not touch the valves.
