I’ve got lots of 50 and 100rnd plastic boxes and I’ve tried the fold your own paper/foam boxes, my bulk 308 and 5.56 are dumped in 50 cal ammo boxes loose. Just wanted see how others do it.

I also have the 50/100 round plastic boxes. I only use the 100s lately though. The 100 rounds of brass in that box stay in that box for life. Load em all- shoot em all - load em all- etc. it takes multiple boxes to do this but it makes tracking brass life easy. Finish one box and start on another, while you’re shooting the next box these can be reloaded. I find this works ok for shooting 100 +/- rounds a month. Higher or lower volume shooting likely has better methods available but this makes sense for what I do.

In magazines.

I don't make up giant batches ahead of time. That's what bulk OEM is for.

Pass the gravy.

I had a 20' x 7' x 2' deep self built into the wall of my reloading room to store my reloads . I have been shooting long enough and go to the range enough that I have collected 1000's of original factory ammo boxes in about all calibers and use those . I do not use plastic boxes as it would be very hard to tell 1000's of them apart with a glance .

I store ammo loose in plastic ammo cans. Fill ziplok bag when going shooting at range. When going hunting, I take 5 rounds.

When box can gets low, I filler back up

50 count boxes with a masking tape and sharpie label that includes load and specific rifle [Linked Image]
for bolt rifles. I have some 20 count two piece boxes if I want to carry twenty. They are labeled the same as the 50 count box they came out of. Brass is kept with the same 50 count lots for its life span. For pistol I use 100 count lots except 357 and 38 which I often load in 500 count batches. That I put in labeled Tupperware tubs.

AR, I have a bunch of lake city brass sorted by year that I have went through. It is in 500 round batches in Tupperware tubs and stays in the same labeled batches. Some that I plan on keeping for a while are vacuum sealed 30/bag (Mag fill) in their Tupperware tubs. I use a brass catcher when shooting.

Most times hunting I bring 5-6 cartridges. Whether shot or unfired, they go back in the box they came from.

I am pissed when I lose a piece of my brass, which happens from time to time with auto loading pistols.

Shotgun shells for clays are loaded by the five gallon bucket and labeled. Lid on the bucket so I can stack them. Hunting ammo is put in recycled 25 count boxes and labeled with masking tape and a sharpie.

Pretty much the same for me. 50 and 100 round plastic boxes, 30 cal. cans and loaded AR10/15 mag pouches.
