Anyone taking their kids this weekend for youth season? Should be a good weekend with the front moving in. I'm working but we'll make the next weekend. What are y'all seeing on trail cams?

We're MLD, so we've done some hunting already, but I will be in a stand with my 10 year old Saturday morning. So far I'd say the deer are really healthy, but horns are down on average. I've seen 3 different mature bucks that lost some inches from last year. Granted last year was exceptionally good for us. We didn't get all the rain until late spring at our place.

Same at my place, very healthy compared to last year. We didn't have the best season last year bucks were down 20lbs on the average. We shot alot of does last year because we hadn't shot any in a few years so I'm hoping that helps the bucks get back to normal body weight which it seems it has looking at trail cams.
