I would be interested to see the results of trying to resize a jacketed bullet from .284 to .277 ...honestly, I have no idea if it's possible or not and what the results would be. But I would guess that, if it was possible, you would want to resize it by .001 at a time... so, go from .284 to .283 to .282, etc... do make the attempt and let us know the results As Kmon recently pointed out to me - NOE has a ton of bullet sizing bushings...https://noebulletmolds.com/site/product-category/sizing-tools/bushings/ It looks like the ones under .284 will get you down to .282, and the ones under .270 will get you from .280 to the desired .277. I've never had any issues resizing a non-jacketed cast bullet but I am generally only resizing by .002; although I have friends that regularly resize non-jacketed cast by .004. I have never personally tried to resize anything greater than .002 ...and never tried a jacketed bullet... but I did a quick search and some people claim to have resized jacketed bullets but none of them claim to have resized them as much as you are looking to do. In my mind, it seems possible to do... I think the real question is what the will the impact on the bullet be. You totally have to try it and tell us the results now

No go with jacketed. Most I go with cast is 0.002" but I can see 0.003" if the grooves survive.
Pass the gravy.
