Got 4 pretty quick with one sow escaping. Then came the piglets that were only about the size of a small cat. Little guys were hard to hit but I managed 4 of them by doubling up twice. I haven’t used the AR in about a year just love running the bolt action too much.

Nice shooting with the NV scope. The one thing about my current lease is there is no wide open space. Ut has lots of tree cover so multiple shots are near to impossible. At least without have a silencer.
If I'm not hunting something I must be dead.

Whackin' and stackin', I guess so! Congratulations on all those scores. What optic were you using and what was the approximate range?

Nice shootin' Sapper.

If you find yourself feeling useless, remember it took 20 years, trillions of dollars, and four presidents to replace the Taliban with the Taliban.
Sometimes the Universe puts you in the same situation again to see if you’re still a dumbass.

Nice job distinguishing targets from other wild (and not so wild) life.

Howdy - thank you for sharing!
New to the forum, and made an account to ask, do you have any tips for someone wanting to night hunt with a bolt action? It seems like most guys use ARs.
I've heard some folks have issues getting a good cheek weld with a bolt gun b/c of the typically longer length of pull vs an AR combined with the short eye relief on most thermals.
Appreciate any advice!
