Just wondering if anyone has had any luck at the mertens public land for dove hunting?

Never hunted up there. But, in my internet scouting, Id choose Mount Moriah before Mertens. to the THF Jesse King

Unless they mowed it this year it’s not worth dove hunting. Last year the grass was about 3 foot tall. Did shoot a few birds but grass to tall to find them I haven’t rode over there this year.
The Mount Moriah is good but you have to have a youth hunter present in to hunt it.
