First off, these photos aren't from Texas. My brother dragged this deer out of a pond on his property in Missouri. Turns out the bow hunter that arrowed it must have been shooting straight down at it as the arrow entered just to the side of the spine and exited one lung. All he knows is it wasn't shot on his property and it had been dead at least 3 days before he found it. Definitely some strange horn structure.
