Anyone besides me enjoy the drive to the hunt? I love to take my time, maybe stop , get Jerky, perhaps a couple fingers at the Garrison Brothers Distillery. Of Course Bucees to pee. I usually travel with a hunting buddy or my daughter. Makes it more fun. Hate to be in a hurry.

In fact for our December hunt my daughter and I will spend the night in Junction Sunday, shop,, eat out, stay in a nice hotel, enjoy a good breakfast before heading to the Hunting Ranch Monday by noon ready to hunt.

the trip home is Hammer down, just get home.

Unless you're talking about grocery shopping, shopping in Junction, on a Sunday, even with a young lady, takes about 15 minutes. On a weekday day - 20. grin Don't take my word for it, ask my wife. She's a very committed shopper. bang

Don't get me wrong, I try my hardest to support the community. There's just not a whole lot there to support.

Nice hotel/Junction

Some of this stuff shouldn't be phrased together.

I'm in Greenville, Hunt County. Depends on where I hunt.
Sometimes a little East of Huntsville, 3.5 hours other times outside of Emory, 30 minutes.

Sir, I don’t know if you’re very good at looking at a map, but Colleyville is pretty well smack dab in the middle of DFW metro mess (DFW meaning Dallas & FT Worth and not DFW airport).

Anyways, I live on the east side of DFW, drive 4.5 hours to the Prairie Dog Town Fork Red River. Sometimes I head 2 hours east to DeKalb/Dangerfield area, other times 7 hours south to Val Verde Co.

We have deer and hogs on our place where we live. I shoot all hogs I can and never our backyard deer.

I drive 20 miles to hunt in the Trinity bottoms.

From what I gather you can’t chuck a rock in Dangerfield without hitting somebody I’m related to but I do not know any of them

Same here. I have at least 7 doe's that stay on my place all the time. I shoot the pigs, but those deer know I won't hurt them.

A little over three hours from Grayson to Haskell counties if I drive straight through. My sons live in Wichita Falls so I always stop off for a while.

I sure wouldn't head to Val Verde County right now without lots of ammo, or alone.

Well, just another predator to add to the list. What call should I use?

Live in Temple and hunt in Fairfield normally, which is a hair over 2 hours depending on Waco traffic.

How you inferred the MBradford is in Tarrant Co, or the east side of DFW from his post is baffling. Maybe Judd was right loco roflmao
