Use The Google to look up SCS (Selfie Overload Syndrome) in the innerweb - you'll find info on neck pains from trying to get just the right angle when taking that all important selfie.

symptoms are pretty vague on here. Best to get it evaluated by a professional.

I would minimize "neck massages" if you have a cardiac histoy. Many people with cardiac vascular disease also have carotid vascular disease (plaque buildup in the arteries). Nothing like rubbing on those carotids and breaking some plaque loose and stroking.

If you highly suspect cervical vertebrae problems causing neck compression might try one of those over the door neck traction devices. They work and only take a few moments a day. example:




My wife was using it a few years back and I laughed at her until the neck pain drove me to try hers. Took two days and it was gone. Now have to use it once or twice a year.

Drink enough to numb the pain and make your head and guts hurt bad enough till it goes away.

Well still have pain, but now at 80% range of motion. Was Rough for awhile, could not work Monday (mainly driving) due to a limited 10% range of motion. Was horrible to move the slightest.

Went to a chiropractor on Tuesday, got snapped saw Jesus and felt like I was hit by truck afterwards. Thought I was going to throw up walking to truck. Do not remember driving home, lots of ice when home and rest.

Should be back to normal by this weekend..

If it’s truly a muscle nerve issue, a muscle relaxer would have been more enjoyable than the chiropractor. IMHO. And I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express a couple weeks ago.

Yup went that route.....did not help. But I do agree it is muscle related.

Don’t pull your man bun so tight

Get an MRI. Like said above, sounds a lot like cervical vertebrae issues. I've been there, had three vertebrae fused and felt better as soon as I woke up from the surgery. Hopefully you won't require surgery, but if so it's not a horrible procedure.

Well was at square one this Saturday, worse than last weekend. Could not get neck stable enough to sleep. Was hell last night.

Wife talked me into going to Dr. This morning, actually did not take much persuasion with all of the misery.

Dr. Said he believes the chiropractor hurt me worse than the original episode. Now on heavy muscle relaxers, steroids and Norcor 10's.
