God ya'll dont flame me for this. Since watching my GF's grandkids play soccer and selling food to about 40 Hispanic, Salvadorian, Venezuela, etc. I have become a fan of the World Cup. Those kitchen workers got SERIOUS come World Cup Time.

I am a big time fan now, We have been watching my granddaughter playing select soccer for the last 9 years and then last year she made varsity for her freshmen year at BHS. We are very proud of her and look forward to how far she will go

The US team looks like it could be a serious contender. Young scrappy team with good talent.

Hockey moms for the win.

I can't stand the game. Our grandson plays and he's really good. Of course in this PC world he can only score 3 goals and then he has to come out of the game so as not to hurt the feelings of the other players.

I'd rather pluck my nose hairs out very slowly with needle nose pliars.

They have no chance and if they even qualify for the World Cup they’ll get knocked out in the group stage.

NOPE.

When the grandkids played, I’d watch and try to stay awake. Only time we had any real interest in the World Cup was when Ireland was in it, and I bought my red headed Irish wife a bunch of Irish green fancy undies to wear during the matches. It was to support (pun not intended) her team.

All the little children in my subdivision has goals or whatever those nets are called in their back yards.

Do you soccer fans find yourself going to the fridge to get a beer, tapping the coffee table with your leg, ever so lightly, Hitting the floor and failing/Flopping around like a freshly caught Fish for 10 minutes, then popping back up like nothing happened?

Soccer fan here. Both of my boys played and went to all the games. My oldest stuck with football and youngest with soccer. My youngest stuck with soccer and played club/select up through high school. He is 20 now and playing soccer in college on scholarship. So all that money we payed for club/select paid off. I watch pretty much any soccer that I find on TV. I much prefer European soccer over South American due to all the Tilapia flopping.

I’m looking forward to that.

well I guess I should disclose I went to my 7 year old niece's first soccer game last Saturday...
