Don’t get too excited, we’re just going to stand up the blind I managed to knock down. That’s the very last thing I need to do before deer season. Except there may be damage to the stand, which I’ll have to fix.

Hard to believe I knocked the darn thing down just before shoulder surgery. Rotten timing.

At our age, any erection is to be celebrated.

I would ask Big Fitz or 2Beez to help...they act like they are experts around erections with a specialty around others.

Judd, I’m feeling a lot better. Still kind of weak, and run out of energy fast. I suppose that’s normal after two back to back surgeries.

I’ll have help with the deer blind.

How long do you think you can keep it up?

We decided to put the blind up this morning. The erection is complete, and hopefully for years. The job took a lot of chainsawing to clear brush to just get to the blind. Now that it’s back to useable, sort of, I still have a lot of repairs to do. It’s just beat all to heck.

All in all, it was a good erection…

The blind was on 5’ legs, but the height wasn’t needed, so we chopped off some legs. When the grandson gets here tomorrow, I’ll see if he wants to expand it to 4x6. Won’t be tough to do. I don’t need the extra room, but he has girlfriends (had girlfriends) and might need more room. The Highland Park gal isn’t around, and the supposedly famous cheerleader hasn’t been mentioned in a while either, but there might be some other gal. I’ll ply him with booze and get the story.

Hudbone, no I’m not real sore. That great neighbor of mine, and the tractor, did most of the heavy work. That left shoulder of mine still has a long way to go to get back to full strength. I sure don’t want any more problems with it. Today I’ll go get the T-111 siding to re-skin the blind, and the door needs to be redone. I can do that with the GS’s help.

We got it up, and I think it’ll stay up. It’s finished and painted. I had to remove and replace a lot of rotten wood, and I made some improvements from the original design. It’s quite nice now. 145 yards to the feeder. I think I’ll go to Walmart and see about a new and nicer chair.

find an office resale store to buy a newer chair. You can get some really nice ones for cheap with all the hydraulic lift, tilt, etc.

We had a building put up at the ranch a number of years ago. The guy referred to himself as an "erection specialist"... and he always grinned after he said it We still joke about it.

2) I used to live in Austin. There's a state govt. "store" where they sell used state property including office furniture. I picked up a nice office chair there for around $10. That state surplus store is north of the airport near the intersection of Bolm Road and Hwy 183.
