Anyone know where you can get 209 Primers these days? Great to have a muzzle loader but nothing to start that ol' bullet toward the target....Thanks!

Lately, thanks to all this election garbage, you will probably find them from someone here before you find them in a store.
That's another reason I love my flintlocks, I can always find a piece of rock that will spark good enough to work.

Click to be notified when they are in stock at Midway. I snagged some 209 primers this weekend that way. I also found 209 primers at Dunham’s and got them too.

I found 777 star fire pellets at Walmart on the clearance isle and bought them out for a little less than 2/3 price. I am stocking up for deer season next year, and so I can save my cartridges for 2 leg vermin. For target practice it is gonna be muzzleloader and air rifle only for me this year.

Will be using muzzleloader or air rifle for any kind of hunting I can legally do so.
