Well it took long enough but after 7 months she’s finally here. Defiance Tenacity action AG Composites stock Trigger Tech trigger 18” K&P barrel 1:8” twist 7-08 Ackley Improved NX8 2.5-20. Accumulated all the loading components while I waited. Gonna see if she will eat 150 or 165 Sierra Tipped Gamekings.

Good parts in that one, bet it will shoot. Look forward to the range reports and game field takes.

Don't even mess with the 150's. It will stack those 165's even while fire forming.
My favorite short action cartridge. It punches outside its' weight class with a 162 to 168 gr bullet.

My favorite short action cartridge. It punches outside its' weight class with a 162 to 168 gr bullet. That is my plan. I've got a couple boxes of Hornady 139 SST factory ammo to burn up for now. Building a house and all my reloading stuff is living in storage.

Is that a small arca or picatany for the bipod I think just a pic rail. I didn't even know I was getting it but it was on there when I got it.

Bathroom scale says 7.5 bare rifle but I think it lies as evidence by what it says about me. I didn't try to build a light weight gun anyway, and it definitely isn't light.

Good looking rifle.
Our specs match up nearly the same, but mine is in 6.5 Juddmoor.
Trust me, it's gonna be a shooter!!
Congrats!!

Slick looking rig. I'll be building one similar in a 7-08ai as well. Just waiting on some parts to show up.
