Everyone is different but Once you agree power ain’t free coupled with the advancement in lithium/solar options, “frustration” isn’t part of the equation.
Ever see a pole barn with a tent platform off the ground built inside with a high end tent? I’ve never found a critter nor scorpion in my $800 tent.
Ever seen how much rainwater you can collect off the pole barn ?
How bout 30-60 gal water tank in the truck to bring water with you?
God Bless a Mr Heater Buddy !

Might want to go look at my house build thread in the DIY section.
My every day home is on rain water capture and cisterns. And has been for almost two years. We could not be happier with it. Best water I have had on tap in my 41 years.

Just look at what rain does for grass -vs- city water. The goal for rain harvest is to store enough water to last until the next rain.

Just look at what rain does for grass -vs- city water. Yup! Chemical free. Never had sewage, pesticides, herbicides or salt in it.

I’d do the electric before water. Pretty easy to haul water or have a tanker bring in a couple thousand gallons. Power during the summer is much harder to come by without electrical service.
