the size of the new Gigafactory is unbelievable ... causing the housing market in all the surrounding areas to take big jumps. There are literally hundreds of new apartment/condo complexes going up around the area.

The only issue they are running into is infrastructure. I guess Elon has his satellites to keep him connected. Have heard several people in Austin talking about it so they can get away from the cable and phone company.

Have heard several people in Austin talking about it so they can get away from the cable and phone company. He's actually starting a big wifi service. Internet service won't be a problem for Texas in a year or so.

One of my kids just got an offer on a commercial property they own. 'Glad they're selling it. Now if they'd just sell their little crap house there and get a better one, preferably on the side of town that's closest to us coming up to visit.
