Well I checked and we are south of Deep Ellum area, south of the Highway. I dont know of thats any better......
Well hell its been fun, wish me luck. Time to head up north to my imminent demise. That area is worse than Deep Ellum.

I don’t like to agree with him. But he’s correct. It’s your average down town crap hole. Rich kids hanging with the ghetto kids everyone drunk buying drugs chasing skanks.
People from different walks of life coming together for a common goal, I don't see the problem... Well go hang out with them if you want you don’t have to notify me.

Don't listen to the scared old men, I live and work in Deep Ellum, you are fine. There are clubs, fights/shootings happen in and around clubs. Stay out of trouble and you will be fine, no different then SA River Walk area. This all day. Freaking boomers on here, lol. Edit: retaining the right to edit my post once South of Deep Ellum and South of the interstate is clarified, lol.

Terry Blacks BBQ is pretty good. Terry Black's and Pecan Lodge are both in Deep Ellum and some of the best BBQ in town. Unfortunately, it will be difficult to get in either place this weekend.

Sounds like the Farmers Market area where all the billboards are in spanglish. Be sure you have wheel locks and a security system on your hooptie. They're always looking to upgrade.

Well hell...... I looked it up and apparently there was a shooting there a couple of weeks ago...... Couple of weeks ago? Might as well be last year. That is not considered the hood in Dallas. There are shootings daily in the hood!

Some of the best advise I've heard/ seen in a long time! Provide us some context. Just staying and sleeping there one night? Or having a weekend of fun?
If worried you can always go to a local playground with your wife in your own hood and practice tactical maneuvers while covering each other. Be sure to film this and then post on here for review/advice.

1. Don’t get drunk
2. Don’t buy drugs
3. Don’t be stoopid
4. Maintain situational awareness
5. Trust your instincts

Go up on the roof and do a recon by fire once or twice, the bad guys will know you mean business and will be shaking in their pantyhose. You might want to add a few tracer rounds for a colorful affect. I would also rig up some mouse traps with primers for perimeter security, or use the mouse traps to trigger a few smoke bombs. After a VERY SHORT TIME you should have enough Dallas police officers there to hold off an army of thugs. .
