Drove to Wyoming for a do-it-yourself Pronghorn hunt on public land with my youngest. We went last year and ran into brutal conditions but had great weather this time. It’s a lot easier to shoot when the wind is not blowing 50 MPH. Lot’s of Pronghorns in the Unit we hunted but a lot were on private. Many thanks to the very generous forum member who gave us advice on the better public land spots and local restaurants! PP gentlemen, you need a few PP for a good area.
We have good public land access and in some areas private access can still be had for cheap or free.
