Do antler restrictions still apply to an MLD property? It seems like it doesn’t. The paperwork just says ‘branch antlered buck’, no min spread mentioned anywhere I can find.

Antler restrictions don't apply to MLD properties.
As mentioned check the MLD paperwork that applies.

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

The cheap one, this year. May alter that going forward as I believe I need more doe tags and would like to work with a biologist.

Please give some more information on this. We are on the Harvest Option, Antlerless Deer tags only. We still use the Antlered Tags from our hunting licenses for Bucks and have been told we still have to obey the 13" rule. I have read the online information and it seems a little bit vague. Thanks for any help. I will be calling our local game warden also.

Dean is a great guy I’ve enjoyed working with him. Not sure how far you are from me in Mills, or if your still in Mills, but we got 34 doe tags on 1,000 acres.

Harvest Option yes AR applies. Conservation Option no AR does not apply. Also the MLD tag is proof of sex no need to keep the head or attach the tag to the body. Just make sure you have the tag with you until the body reaches final destination.

Thanks, that is why I asked the question. The reply by Jimbo, had me questioning what I have read and been told wrong. I wish they would have put it the description a little be more plainly. It kind of leaves it to interpretation.
I wish it didn't as I have a very tall but narrow 12 point I have been watching for several seasons.

When the consulting biologist called me after I applied for the Harvest option he told me that Antler Restrictions do not apply. I am using the Harvest option and all deer taken this year will be with an MLD tag.

My apologies, I was speaking to Old Rabbits situation where he said he got antlers only tags under MLD and no buck tags. Under that situation yes AR will apply. If you are in the Harvest option and received buck tags under MLD AR would NOT apply.
