there are still some hunts available. most I've talked to, lost almost their whole herds. they will not offer Axis hunts for 4-5 years. unless they want to spend thousands of dollars at the exotics auctions.

its terrible, hopefully hunt prices wont increase to pay for them

just a sad deal

why did they lose their whole herds please? Ive eaten but never hunted them! can they not survive like whitetails?


avid deer hunter that is disable but God has still blessed me.

Jerry that’s correct, although some lost a lot of
Whitetail too. That freeze really hurt.

Axis deer are indigenous to India so they are not used to that kind of cold. No, they are not like white tail in that respect.
