The deer on my ranch were all weird this evening with the folks out prepping for the morning hunt. They don't care much about me, because I'm the food provider, but they know when folks are in the woods that they are not accustomed to. Pretty interesting to watch their behavior.

I agree and I have seen many times in the past. The deer on my place for the most part were all acting the same 2 days ago, except for the one buck I am targeting. Once he shed his velvet he has not been as visible. I can drive in to check a feeder and he will be there(TC pics show him there and time stamp) and he won't be there when I can see the feeder. All the other deer will be there or close by and return when I leave. The older target buck will return but not till I leave. My day to day routine is the same and not much traffic during the week around me. It was so dry they are really hitting the feeders hard right now, so when I drive up in the Ranger they are usually standing around or see them moving towards the feeder.
