I've heard numerous folks say it is best to build circular pens. Opinions?

Round creates efficiently creates more usable space, but hard to tighten barb wire if you end up needing. it.

I personally would never build another round pen if cattle are present or anticipated.

Do you mind sharing why?

Tightening a strand of barb wire on a round pen is not practical.

Will cows jump over hog panels?

I personally haven't seen it, but I am sure someone has a story.

Not sure if he jumped in the pen or just rared up and laid over the panels. But he eventually showed the calves how it was done and rest is history. They tore the panels down and I had to rebuild it with 50" cattle panels.
