North side of 380 between Haskell and Throckmorton. You can see it from miles away, this is going west bound on 380, you can see it on the north side on the hill.

Gunslinger here. Bought Him out of Kansas as a Young un. Was a good gentle Bull. My Guys were Heavy hitters. Bred for meat if you wanted. No skinny wimps when I had the place. That Steer is silly looking and looks ready to fall over from Hunger. Probably get a fortune for Him.

Is that where flat iron steaks come from? Asking for a friend.

No matter how low and slow you cook him and he's not going to get tinder.

Old wife's tale. Don't butcher a 18 or 20 year old and don't let the ones you process eat dirt ,rocks, or Mesquite Beans. . Yes they will live off that but will look like that skinny Pecker above with horns. Feed um a good feed and they're tasty. . I never had a skinny cow. Take um down about 18 months old , butcher out about 400 to 450 pounds. They don't have a lot of fat/marble on um. Angus or any of the other meat breeds will be time and half more weight at 18 months old.

That Longhorn belongs to Richard Filip who owns a ranch near Fayetteville,Tx.He raises prize Texas Longhorn cattle and has won many trophies for his Longhorns.

I had forgotten where it was but do remember seeing pronghorns West of Throckmorton and Haskell. One ranch in that area gets or at one time would get a few tags from the state for pronghorn.
