After an afternoon limit.. Guy that's great to see. Do you think these are migrants from the north. I hunted yesterday in Williamson county and brought home two (I had opportunity for an honest 10 if I had the ability). These birds were not as skittish and were plumper than the earlier birds before the cooler front.

The three on the left are dang sure northern birds, those northern always have a purple hew to their breast feathers. Nice shoot, great pictures

I been shooting limits all season with morning and afternoon hunts, this weekend 25 birds pm Friday and Saturday AM.

Damn those look just right. Are those peppers whole canned peppers? They look already cooked kinda. Pickled whole jalapenos.. I love them, probably eat one every day with dinner. I wrapped one breast at a time, half a slice of that center cut back, half a jalapenos. If a big jalapenos, 1/4 slice.
