Just being gay is so passé. This has got to be your best quote ever! I was raised by a Germans who didn’t believe in coddling their children. Anything child specific was verboten; we ate what the adults ate, did what they did and watched what they watched. Elvira was a common figure in the late 1980’s and was a common fixture around our house, as was Jim Varney. I am less upset to find out she is gay and more upset to find out that she is 70....
