Shosui Takeda knives are my favorite kitchen knives and I recently found an EDC Takeda sheath knife.
The handle is ironwood burl. The shape is good and hand-filling. But the handle seems too slick and I would prefer something more grippy.
Looking for recommendations and/or a price estimate. I think I either need a design cut or burned into the wood (i.e. Winkler Knives Tribal handle treatment),
or I need the handles replaced with stag, tusk, etc with a lot of texture.
I would appreciate advice and/or solutions on this matter.
