I found myself hospitalized in March. I was 222 pounds. I immediately cut out beef pork sugar and salt. Drank mainly water. Ate low carb meals mostly baked fish and chicken with a pile of salad or other veggies. In 90 days I was down to 177. Waist went from 38-40 down to 32. I maintain 180 pretty easily. This was all diet as I haven't begun to work out yet. I figure with a good exercise program I should plateau at about 170. I think the last time I weighed 222 I was wearing 32x38’s. I’d just like to see 235 again. I’m down from 270 to 245. If I make it to 225 I can maintain a healthy weight. I quit drinking beer during the week and eating less fried food, plus lifting weights with my oldest son. I’m walking a couple of miles a day while he runs. It’s coming off pretty quickly.

70.1 down this AM. 15 more to go before my elk hunt! Great job! you lost 70# in 4 months? That's great. I'm down 39# since June 3rd. On a great program now. Mental fixin is what I need now. I'm working with dietitians and therapist, trying to figure out ways to keep me from binging like I always did.

I'm working with dietitians and therapist, trying to figure out ways to keep me from binging like I always did. I did, and I wasn't near as committed as when I lost all the weight the 1st time. All comes down to cutting sugars, salts, and carbs; but having enough carbs and sugars to fuel the body but get into fat burn. Anyway, it's worked for me. Keep it up. 39# is nothing to shake a stick at. I'm in the same boat. I enjoy food and need to figure out the balance of enjoying it and not putting a bunch of weight back on. Got 67 miles in last week on the bike and feet. Feeling pretty good about my elk hunt. I've hit my goal weight, but I'd like to drop 10 more pounds before the hunt. Feel like I'm loosing inches based on how clothes are fitting, but not really dropping weight. Probably adding muscle with all the cardo.

212.7 this morning, Headed for 190, starting to get saggy skin though. Might pause early like 205 or so and see if I can fill out some muscle.
Upon us all, upon us all, a little rain must fall
