Just the janitorial staff, taking a break.

Just wanted some bread, most likely. If only two, you're probably okay. If there were 15-20, somebody hung a leg in the panels out of view.

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

Black head buzzards feed on live animals (babies) especially. I have had red heads more referred to as Turkey buzzards get after baby calves and seen them after baby deer also You can get a Federal permit to shoot them harassing your newborn calves and stock

Black Buzzards...I can't say, but I do know they are a much more aggressive acting bird. Not saying it doesn't happen (Turkey Buzzard) but I've never seen it happen where I am.

Had one fly up from eating something dead and hit the side of my truck on a trip to Colorado a few years ago, I think he broke his neck.

Lost a week old calf to those turkey buzzards , calf was still warm and limber , mom was trying her best to run them off . Not just undertakers and clean up crew . Will kill helpless babies !

You can get deperdation permits for them but yes they are bad on calves, kids and fawn. Peck out the eyes.

So I just read that it is the black vultures that will kill small animals and eat them. The article I read said turkey vultures will not do this and only eat carrion. I believe the ones in the picture the OP posted are turkey vultures, not black???

Interesting reading though that blk hang out with Turkey because of the greater sense of smell. Who knows
