Mine have increased since they passed the law stating that they can't spoof phone numbers. I thought they were suppose to call from legitimate numbers. I have tried calling several back and it just rings. I don't think the numbers are legit. Have probably blocked at least 50.

My phone never stops ringing. Very aggravating.

There is a new(?) Blocker out that claims to be able to call them back and aggravate them. I haven't checked it out yet. Last 2 days have been very busy, might check it out. I find talking, wasting their time is effective. My goal is to get cussed out and hang-up on.

Dang spoofed phone numbers.

Most of the time I talk to them and keep them on the line for as long as possible. I ask how the weather is where they are and items in the news. They usually hang up on me.

If your not on my contacts or I add your number my phone won't ring it goes to voicemail.

I have an old house in a revitalized area. People offering to buy my house wear me out daily via phone, text, and snail mail. And they are persistent. My blocked caller list is getting massive. I have even had people pull up while I am mowing the lawn to ask me if I am interested in selling. I have noticed the bulldozing and rebuilding has backed off quite a bit in my neighborhood and I never see houses for sale here anymore, so the builders and flippers must be getting desperate. Other than those, I really don't get many telemarketer calls.

Yes this - every time you answer one of these calls you are letting more spammers know your number is a live number and it results in more spam calls -

None today after 2 to 3 per day for several weeks. Maybe I have blocked them all.

I used to talk to them and then started telling them to take me off their mailing list but it didn't do any good.I havn't answered my phone in over a year unless your on my contact list.Other than that leave me a voicemail and i'll get back to you if your legit.Phone calls have cut down a lot but after buying this vehicle I expect more calls from the warranty people.

I have wondered about just blocking everyone. With them hacking numbers I am afraid that I might block a number that I will need. I received a call from my wife’s phone one night while she was sitting right next to me. It was one of them vehicle warranty calls.

If your not in my address book then the phone does not ring. Problem solved

To block calls that are not on your contact list:
However, it will not block anyone from leaving a voice mail
and if they are legit, they will leave a voice mail.

Which is ok until you are expecting a return call from the DR’s office or something like that. Them you have to disable it.

I usually tell them I drive a '66 Chevy and they hang up.

I don't get many calls , but I am getting spam texts. sent to me and 20 others. I read where you should go the the bottom number and block,
but it is usually a .com . so I block that.
it has slowed down , but still happening. I think I am going to start a file , copy the offenders into it , and forward that the FCC.

Yep - I do this on my iPhone, but have had a few occasions where I forgot to disable it when expecting a call. Still, I like it that all calls from numbers not in my contact list just show up as "silenced call".

We have been getting a crazy amount of junk calls on the landline. I listed the landline and cell on the do not call list a couple days ago. Crazy that it takes months tp work.
