Some dirtbags broke into my buddy’s house in NW Lubbock on Saturday evening and stole a bunch of stuff. Please keep your eyes peeled and contact me or the Lubbock PD if you see any of it. Thanks!

Got hit hard. I’d almost bet it’s someone he knew to clean him out that good. Must have known what was there.

Agreed. My paranoia would be at a pathological level. 'Hope he can get some of it back. And she's gonna want a new purse. Understandable.

Yep, our storage unit got cleaned out in 2016 when we moved. Thankfully there were no guns in there, obviously I wouldn't have put them in a storage unit, but all my ammo, yard equipment, and a ton of other stuff was in there. What took me 2 loads with a truck and trailer this dude threw in a little dodge neon in about 10 minutes. Meth heads are crafty little suckers. They actually caught the guy because he was bagging up 10-20 rounds of ammo per bag and making drug purchases with it from an undercover police officer.

So good luck to your friend, hope he finds his stuff. Alot of our stuff was so trashed when we got it back, we just bought new with the insurance money.

I was in the same situation while I was in Lubbock. I hope he has all of the serial numbers. That is the only way he is going to get them back in my experience. Most definitely the information came from someone who had been in the house. Lubbock was the only place I have lived where I felt like I had to vet people before I became friends with them. Home burglary is big business there with most of the activity around Tech Terrace and Lynnwood.

Yep you are right! I just read the whole list of items stolen and there was a Cannon 24 gun case.
Wonder if there is any surveillance cameras in the area that might have gotten an image of the POS.
That is a lot of stuff that was taken worth $$$

Someone knew the contents, if they stole the 24 gun Cannon safe. Most home burglars don't carry around dollies.

Most were, but it wasn’t bolted down - they recently bought/moved into the house. The thieves drug the loaded safe from the garage, through the house and back yard, then down the alley about 40 yards before loading it. One neighbor hear it happening, but thought it was my buddy and paid it no mind.

All the neighbors that he checked with only had doorbell cameras.

Even bolted down, most can push safe back and forth and shear bolts. Better then nothing and takes them longer but some what of a false sense of security UNLESS it has min four points of attachment... From experience

I hope he gets it back BUT that is the reason I don't brag or share with what I have in our house.Friends have loose tongues to their friends and word gets around.

That sucks. The thief knows you and knew when you were gone. They obviously had PLENTY of time to clean you out. That is not a smash and grab.
