Don't know about Bill, but,I'll give you what componants have cost recently, you may find this stuff cheaper but here's my cost:
25# #8 shot $45.
1# 20/28 powder $28.
WAA20 wads 500@ $14 (Claybuster)
When I can get them Fiocchi new primed hulls $17. for 100
oncefiredhulls.com is shut down, he is a great place to get pre fired hulls (except 16 ga. mad)

So at this cost of components…what can you reload a box of 25 shells for…?

Bois d'arc - Lets do 1oz shot loads and use Cleboj data as example - not too far from mine Except that I have 1000's of once fired 20 and 12 ga hulls - AA. I source all other from Genesears.com out of Reno, OK w/free shipping to DGC or Elm Fork in Dallas area. Below are prices from Gene S.

25# #8 Lawrence Magnum shot $45.25 # is 400 1oz loads for $45 -----> 0.11+/ea
1# 12ga Clays powder $28 (= 7000 gr.) @18.3gr/ea = $0.07/ea
WAA20 wads 500@ $12 (WWAASL) Wad= $0.024/ea
Primers $45/1000 = $0.045/ea for WW, less for Cheddite and Noble, = $0.045
AA once fired hulls $0

Total /load = $0.25 per load

Multiply by 25 ----> $0.25x 25 = $6.25 per box with premium high antimony, 1280fps Helice load, Retail $8-10/box

20 ga is about 5% less due to less powder. Ditto 28 and .410 where reloading high quality really pays. If I only shot new hulls and had to buy them, I wouldn't reload 12ga.

First, find some powder and primers then line up a recipe to those.

Bill, hey welcome to reloading is your just now getting into it! We load the same load as the WW20 skeet load or target loads for
20's. We mostly shoot over ponds, so very close shots, been happy so far. As far as powder goes, we use Green Dot when you can
find it! have about 1/2 lb left over, havent shot much over last few years of hunting.....
As of right now with all hoarders, few stock of reloading material im hearing shelves are pretty empty. Just get primers, powders at gun shows,
rest we order when available. I have Win AA's left over from the early 80's i rotate my stock around, now im getting 7 to 8 loads per hull.....
So reloading pays......

Gud luck, hunt safe....
