I went out hog hunting. This is a new hunting place for me, it belongs to a friend/neighbor. Five days earlier I'd sat out and shot a 170Lb sow, and I was hoping the hogs hadn't yet gotten the word. The neighbor had mowed the field so visibility was good, but the hogs didn't show up. I saw several deer and a few raccoons, and coyotes came through a few times. Two of them didn't leave.

Nothing real special, just photos of dead coyotes. The neighbor was happy. He likes the coyotes even less than the hogs, so I suspect I'll be able to manage some more trips to hunt there.

That's a good point, and this was an oat field so there's probably lots of rodent food!
