I agree 1000 %. Kids hunting is what it’s all about! Have been fortunate enough to be around several youngsters after they harvested there first deer. Some big, some small, even does. The twinkle in there eye, and the inability to wipe the smile off there face, well priceless!!!!

He was ecstatic and so was I.

When someone decides to shoot a buck ...that person is excited and proud...it takes a small person to criticize someone's buck. I probably would talk to a person that criticizes someone's buck....especially if the hunter is young or a novice hunter.

Very few upsides to Facebook and a whole lot of the worst in people. My son-in-law killed a more than decent buck on my place. A couple of his so-called friends became instant deer experts and put him down under the guise of kidding. We have lost how to build each other up. The devil smiles.

I couldn't agree more when it comes to kids and especially when it is their first deer!!
High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

Yes that’s a great way to put it, go back to say something nice or nothing at all. A trophy is different for everyone. I congratulate everyone on any animals harvested
