Anyone had any experience with it killing their grass. I have a bottle that I used last summer for spot treatment without any problems. It killed the crabgrass without any impact on the St. Augustine. I mixed up a bottle this past week for the same purpose and it killed the grass quicker than any grass and weed killer I've ever used. I'm 110% percent certain I mixed it correctly. Not sure if it has an expiration date or you need to shake the bottle before using. It was stored in the garage so maybe the severe cold somehow changed the chemical composition. Have no clue at this point.
TIA

I don't see how it didn't kill your St Aug last time. It's 2,4-D, Quinclorac and Dicamba. The label states not to use it on St Aug. Quinclorac is a common product used to kill St. Aug in Bermuda lawns. I don't know the viscosity of each of those ingredients, but always shake your bottle well prior to mixing. Could be the Quinclorac separated to the top and that was the heavy concentrate you mixed. But either way that is not a product I would use on St. Aug.

I was more focused on the large print on the front of the bottle that reads "WON'T HARM THE LAWN, GUARANTEED". If there's any good that came from the experience, now I know what beats Roundup in both price and effectiveness when it comes to killing grass and weeds

Put out Lesco Stonewall Pre emergent now at 2.5lbs per 1000 and do it again at the same rate in February and get it watered in with 1/2" of irrigation. Next year your crabgrass issue will be minimal if any. Available at Lowers. .
