Prefer double barrel with external hammers and Damascus barrels. I will be loading my own black powder cartridges. Want a shooter shotgun....not a safe queen museum piece or a decorating wall art gun. This gun will be shot. Gauge and manufacturer is not important to me. Having a safe shooter is....on a budget.

I've been collecting pre-1950 shotguns to use at a charity clay shoot for about three years. Now I want to take one more step back in time and go black powder. Let me know what you have. If you have an old shotgun in the back of the safe, in a closet, or hanging on a wall that you would like to see be used and appreciated again let me know.

I have two LC Smith shotguns I'd sell. 1-12 and 1- 20 ga. I have shot both. They are not Damascus steel not external hammers, but both fire. They both have repaired ( not professional, more like farmer) cracked stocks.

I'd sell the pair for $900 or I'd take a matched pair of Uberti revolvers chambered in 357mag.

I have a 20 gauge Winchester Model 12 which I believe is a 1956 year model. May be too far outside your parameter.

I like that old humpback you have,mine has a 30" barrel and shoots great.

Yes Sir....pre-1950 is the basis of the collection. We use them at a charity clay shoot held by one of the members. It’s a great time shooting these old guns with my three sons. Now I’m wanting to get one or two black powder guns and load my own shells. I do appreciate the offer.

If you have a place in the collection for a Syracuse, New York 1903/1904 G grade Lefever in 12 gauge let me know and I can get you some images of the gun. It's well used, well loved and maybe well suited for what you want.
