Funny how I asked others to prove me wrong, but then they tell me to prove it. Did Trump call in a martial state? No. We did not pull an Australia, and I never said that. You asked where Trump supported the shut down, not where he called in a martial state. I like you trapper, and you’re smart enough to know that what he said gave permission. He did not tell governors to keep it open, which would have been exactly what most on here are saying. I can't speak for ntxtrapper, but I can tell you I didn't like Trump pushing that stuff. However, I can damned sure draw a line of distinction between someone who suggests something and someone who signs an executive order mandating it. If Abbott had just said he supported that stuff and never signed an executive order we wouldn't be having this conversation. I don't care if someone suggests that I do stupid stuff, but don't order me to do it. As far as Trump giving the governors permission, they didn't need his permission to do anything.

I will agree with that tlew Thank you sir. I’m not looking to tell anyone who they should vote for, that’s a dumb aspiration. I just want folks to understand that we are nitpicking on a lot of things, and this is tearing us apart as a whole. We can’t agree on minimum calibers to shoot deer, but we can all agree that you need to be able to place the right shot. Let’s agree on placing the right shot to win an election rather than losing to internal division.
