Need some help guys! I have an Elk hunt planned in Oct, it’s my first elk hunt. I am shooting my 300 Win Mag and need ammo. I currently shoot Hornady 180 grain SST ammo. I am looking for a good round for Elk. I’ve been told either Nosler or a round that shoots an accubond bullet. I can’t locate this ammo anywhere local or online! Any suggestions would be appreciated. If you’re willing to sell 2 boxes I’d be grateful! I need 180 grain or heavier for my rifle. I also have a 7 mad that I could use if someone would be willing to sell me 2 boxes of ammo that is designated for elk.

I have ELD-X, I think it’s 208 gr. Located in Celina if you’re interested. $3/end which is what I pad for it

I have 2 boxes of federal fusion I’d let go, they are 165 gr spitzer boat tail though.
I paid $55 a box, and that’s what I’d want for it. If it helps ya any..

I bought 4 boxes of this in January of this year, it was the only 300 win mag I seen on the shelf since.. regrettably I paid a lot for it but beggars can’t be choosers

If your hand loading for Nilgai the 210 and 215 Berger are serious

Did you see my posts? I know you’re trying not to bump your own thread, and I get that. 200 grain ELD-X bullets will put an elk or mule deer down in a heart beat. Get them from me or somewhere else, doesn’t matter

TLEW I did see your post, thank you for responding. Sorry for the slow response, I was out of town at my grandsons birthday. I wanted to do some research on that round for Elk. I really appreciate everyone's help, most of the people on this forum are incredible. I love how everyone looks out for one another and tries to help. The 200gr ELDx will kill elk just fine...
The 3 to the left were all shot with 300 Win mag with 200gr ELD X the far right was 145 gr ELDX from 270 Win
