Morning hunt 12 gauge semi auto 7 birds on 19 shells this evening 5 birds on 14 shots with 28 gauge O/U. First time out with the 28 and I credit my shooting to young stupid birds

Not good. Prolly a box and a half to 2 boxes for 14 found birds. 1 dead I never found. Took half the hunt to get on em for some reason.

the car next to shot the bird at me when I told him texting and driving was stupid if he couldn't stay in one lane doing it. He shot me the bird and sped off. Saw him in another mile pulled over. 
Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.

28 ga. 15 with 28. was 6 for 6 on floaters into a pond. Gave my spot up for a new hunter and went to the speedsters. They were much more challenging. The oilpatch has birds this year.

Depends a lot how the birds are flying, the amount of birds, and what type of shots I'm taking. If there are a lot of birds, they are decoying, and I'm picking my shots...I can get a limit with one box, or less. But if he birds are tough and I'm going for tough long shots 2 or 3 boxes.

I suck, but last time I went dove hunting( four years or so ago)( always buy my dove stamp just in case), ratio was terrible, but had fun and do love the smell of gun powder!!!!
