I thought so. I just didn’t want to assume.

So, when does that sign apply and when does it not?

Ok thanks for the advice. I'll keep it on my to-do list.

My understanding (quote me in legal context at your own risk) is that:

No LTC = can’t legally carry if generic sign posted.
Yes LTC = only a 30.06, 30.07, or verbal communication from owner / tenant can stop you.

I think that is correct.
Disclaimer. I am not a legal expert but I did shoot 4 dove this morning.

Thanks. This is the first I’ve heard of this.

Isn’t there a new 30.05 sign now that you can only carry inside with a LTC?
Thought I read that

This is my understanding as well. We aren't like some other states where generic signs apply (at least to my knowledge). It needs to reference the code, be in at least 1 inch letters, etc. to apply to constitutional carry, concealed carry, and open carry. It doesn't matter to me personally since only .06 and .07 apply to me, but I'd love clarification nevertheless if I'm wrong

30.06 and 30.07 signs will remain intact and there will be a new 30.05 sign. It has to include language that is identical or substantially similar to "Pursuant to Section 30.05, Penal Code (criminal trespass), a person may not enter this property with a firearm".
The other requirements are the same as the 30.06 and 30.07 signs. They have to have three signs available now because they are dealing with three different criminal trespass sections instead of two.

Bingo, sounds like I had it right from the beginning for once. Maybe I'm like wine, improving with age grin
