Guys I'm so sorry for yet another thread. This should be the very last one for a while. where is the best place both local and online to get brass, projectiles, powder and primers? Almost every is either out or only has one of these 4 items in stock. Thanks yet again for y'alls help!!

good lord I cant find the 2 powders I want anywhere. Looking for Benchmark and Alliant AR-Comp... any suggestions?

I would even take H335 or W748

1lb preferably but could go 4lbs with Benchmark or AR Comp

Supplies are hard as heck to come by right now. I'm not sure if you're aware but we are in an ammo shortage and this includes reloading supplies. Your options are to load with what you can find, or wait until what you want is in stock. Waiting could be weeks, months, or years and that is not a joke. Retumbo has been MIA for a very long time. Varget has been MIA for over a year. Good luck.

are we really?? no seriously I guess until the last 2 days I didn't realize it was this bad. I can find ready to go pew pew's on the reg so didn't think reloading would be this bad. I've pieced together through a friend and hard searching my first run of 500 5.56. everything will be here in a few days. I literally cant wait.

Since January 2020.

I could not buy primers for 14 months, because no one had any in stock. Powders got scarce mid 2020 and still are. Brass can be a problem. Bullets are my largest problem right now, and have been for about 8 months.

Sorry Josh, but you just stepped into the same pool many us have been treading water in.

Sorry Josh, but you just stepped into the same pool many us have been treading water in.

JoshMan7347, to add to what FiremanJG said, I think some (many?) people newly interested in reloading are surprised at the components shortage because people hear so much from current reloaders about finishing cartridges. How can that be when there's no ammo on the shelf they wonder. It's because we don't only buy components when we want to load (and only the quantity we're going to load), we load from our stockpiles. Meanwhile, we're still on the prowl for components just like the newcomers. We simply have kegs and kegs of powder, stacks of primers and bullets, etc. Of course their stockpiles vary in quantity from, unfortunately for some, too little to they may never run out.

Also, the components market is ripe with scam sites right now. Be very careful about buying online. The old saying - if it's too good to be true... - couldn't be more correct right now. If you're not sure post it up in this forum. Check sites against https://re.reddit.com/r/gundeals/wiki/blacklisted_websites.

I don’t have extra primers, but I could part with a pound of H335 or BL-C(2) and 100 of 223 once fired brass. I don’t use the BL-C(2), so don’t really need it. Some folks on here have been very helpful to me in the past, so maybe it’s my turn to help someone. I’m 120 miles south of you, near Groesbeck. PM me if you wish to pursue this. I may also have some .224 bullets I don’t need, though not a lot.

I was hoping to get into reloading to possibly save a tiny bit of money and be able to load rounds I'm not afraid to shoot out of my own stock. I guess I didn't really think that the reloading community was so big. But I can not thank you guys and some of your generosity enough. I was able to find two 1lb bottles of Benchmark and a bottle of AR-Comp.

Mr. 603... Send me a PM on the H335 and the .224. Id be very interested to keep stock up. After I get these 500 round built I need to invest in a tumbler so not buy expensive brass.

sad to hear about the scams. I'm more of a tournament fisherman over hunting and the scams on that side is absolutely out of control.

If you have 3 pounds of powder now, you don’t need the H335 I have. I’d still walk you through the reloading process, using my gear, if you’d like.

Get your primers, powders at local gun shops if they have it, then gun shows. But i havent been since chicom virus,,,,,, im a hermit.....
other supplies you find at Midway, Midsouth shooters, Everglades, or Natchez shooters. These dont have it, your asking too much, they
carry the loins share of most reloaders Some academys in central tx do carry some reloading stuff, but it seems the slim supplies have effected
the buyers there too. shop around its out there, Walmart is not anti gun, some locals are quiting, guess the buyers all turned liberal.... good for them....

good luck, hunt, load safe....

Powdervalley just dropped some powders, including some H335 (1 and 8 lb. options). Get it while it lasts.
