Being overly desperate for affection can lead to problems...as this lovesick tom discovered too late this morning. Used to see the same foolish behavior at the Broken Spoke on Wednesday nights back in the '70s in Austin!

Shout-out to Ben and Meredith Taylor of Rafter T Bullets in Coleman, TX: one of their cast .32-20 slugs accounted for this one.

Awesome! Wish I could get out after some Turkey this year. As usual, baseball has taken up every weekend. Congrats!

Thank you, Sir! It's always a hoot using an old-timer in the field...

Awesome! My next project is to ground-check another one with this '92 in .25-20!

People's Choice was the band when I chased tail at The Spoke non Wednesdays in the mid 80's. Who played there when you were there?

Nice turkey.

The People's Choice was THE Wednesday night band at the Spoke back in the '70s. Their mix of country and rock & roll made them a great band! When I was in the mood for fiddle music, I'd make it a point to catch Alvin Crow and the Pleasant Valley Boys...
