I need the driver side front axle replaced on my 2013 Ranger 900 XP. When I pull on it, it’s loose and has lots of play. Looking for recommendations on a good ATV mechanic or repair shop in the DFW area that I can take my Ranger. TIA

If you can get in Todd Kirby in Rowlett Polaris ATV Repair is a great dude to get to do it. He stays pretty busy and the last time I tried to get mine in for some maintenance we never could get our schedules to align.

Good luck.

Yeah, I’ve watched some videos. It doesn’t look too hard. I’ve already ordered the axle. Hopefully it will pop right out when I pull on it…..otherwise, it might get ugly. I have plenty of tools and floor jacks etc. thanks

I’m not sure I understand your question, but when I pulled on the axle there was lots of play by the joint next to where the axle goes into the gear box. I ended up taking it to Todd Kerby, who is a nice guy and I had other things that needed to be repaired, including, the rack and pinion steering, all the bushings and one of the wheel bearings. I probably could have done all these repairs myself but it’s a better use of my time for me to work harder at my day job and pay a professional for repairs on my toys.
