Van Halen (Talented group. Roth is an interesting guy. Music just doesn’t do it for me.)
AC/DC (Music is tolerable to decent. That voice is like nails on a chalkboard.)

I am also that guy that doesn't really care for live music. Thought I was all alone on that, I have never liked live music much. I go with people to hang out, you cant talk cause its too loud. It usually sounds like carp live you cant understand them, and I have just never been possesses by the music to the point all i want to do is stand and scream while a song is playing. Ill never understand how live shows generate the demand they do. Id much rather listen to the radio or better yet a well put together playlist sitting around a bbq pit or fire or shady spot or... with folks I enjoy the company of and a few adult beverages.

Then again in about two months. Despite volume or any other reasons cited, redchevy, they can be a great experience. It's the memories, that's why I do it. I hear ya though, your approach will never get old, never die.

I'll stick to what I know. I have never cared much for Kenny Rogers or Garth Brooks.
New Nashville country sucks, but there are a lot of Texas/Red Dirt folks that I like.
Like somebody mentioned, Carrie Underwood sounds to me like she's screaming all the time. Rascal Flatts... well that's been covered.

I simply don't get it. I don't listen to bands I don't care for. How in my whole wide world can I tell you about something that I have never listened to?
