Afternoon Hunters,

I am on the search for a year round deer lease in central Texas/Hill Country area. I am mangement minded, family oriented, and see hunting weekends as a great time for stories, campfires, grilling, and waiting for the perfect buck to come along. I tend to watch the wildlife around me and do not get impatient with my hunts. I pride myself on letting deer mature season after season. I have my own stand and feeders. I bow and rifle hunt, and I protein feed year round. I have a camper if there is water and electricity. My wife enjoys hunting, but she also enjoys just being part of the weekend trips. We live in the Victoria, TX area and have hunted Goliad, Cuero, and Zapata. I am open to land around Refugio county as well as hill country. I hunt white tail, turkey, and hogs, but I am most interested in white tail. The others would just be a bonus.

If anyone has small acreage for up to 4 hunters I can fill those spots with family members. This is truly my preference to allow all of our children to grow up hunting together, but this late in the season I would also willingly join a group who has similar views of hunting as me with an open spot. I look forward to any leads or suggestions from the group. I have been reading posts for a while now and after seeing so many positive reviews and mention of building relationships I finally decided to try it out for myself!

Any open spots within 2-3 hours of Victoria county would also be something I would check look into. Or just a single gun lease on small acreage! Really hoping to find a place for this upcoming season.
