This is 10k less than the other one. I don’t know much about Tacoma’s. But this one looks solid.

You’ll get an all around better deal in a Tundra. More truck for less money. The Tacoma market has always been crazy.

If you will invest the time on Autotrader there are deals on the east side of the country. I had to have a truck--no two ways about it.
I wanted a Ram Big Horn 4x4 gasser and found one in KY. It was nearly 10k under what one would be around here, if there was one around here. There was not.
I was about to get on a plane and Doc Horton mentioned having a vehicle shipped to him. I asked this dealer and it was like, Hell yeah every day. $800 shipping put a new Big Horn in my driveway from Louisville, KY.
Be prepared for 9 out of 10 calls to hear, "We can't do that"---the price on Autotrader. It pisses you off at first. But I found an honest one.

Yep...it is what it is. If you don't pay it someone else will. They can have it then. I’ll keep the ol heifer I got. I’d rather be caught dead than paying MSRP, much less that much over. Now I KNOW I’ll be in this Tundra for a long azz time.
Man if I knew what Oxner knows I could throw away what I know

Find it hard to believe anyone with a choice would choose to purchase within the current environment.

I am glad I live where there are none of those and no one wants them.
Why buy now is simple. To most people they see high trade and high retail as the same as low/low. It's the DIFFERENCE that matters and a percentage is still a percentage. There are loads of good reasons to trade right now but for someone like me who's got all his vehicles paid for and has for a while, it would not be a good time to buy.
Pass the gravy.

On the fence about selling my truck just because I can get more than I paid for it new 3 years ago and wait for prices to eventually come back down to reality to get a new one. I travel so much for work that the wife and I can get by with just her car anyway.

Take it to CarMax and see what they will give you. It's a starting point.

The “delete” will hurt resale to a dealer unless you convert it back.

I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

yep, in the middle of it now.
What I want needs to be ordered and the chip shortage is going to take up to 2 years to get what I ORDERED much less delivered.
Freeking used cars are $13 grand more than they should be. I could bank on mine but what would I buy that was priced FAIRLY ??? Just curious, what did you "order"?

I bought a 2019 F150 Lariat in May and paid way too much. But I can't go without a p/u. Last year I could have bought a fully loaded 2018 Platinum for 35K. when they couldn't give them away.

I'm putting my 17 Superduty on the market next week, prolly get about 9k less than I paid for it new. Need to buy a new one next year anyway for taxes. If it is in good shape and not too high miles, you may get closer to what you paid for it! I've been offered 33k for my 2018 1500 silverada cc 4x4 LT with 78k miles on it. I got 15k off sticker when I bought it in june of 18' and paid 34,500+ TT&L. lmao The problem is that there will not deal on the new ones so you will pay whatever the asking price is on them. Found a really, really clean 2021 LTZ 1500 CC 4x4 with the little duramax in it. Truck has under 4k miles and was traded in by a very wealthy guy that buys and trades in 3-4 vehicles each year. $57k is the price and they will not budge. Truck was $63 sticker new and has every option know to man kind including an azz wiper in the seat I think. lmao This market is NUTS
High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!
