First time to try this, this buck last year i had at 3.5 and mid 140.....any thoughts on this year....1st pic of the year( mature bucks 5and up will dress 180 to 200lbs in our area) that should help out a little
Beautiful deer! I see a 4 or maybe even a 5 year old and 51-53" up. Not sure on your deer what their frames normally carry but giving him 18 IS, 30 Mass, & 45 on beams i'd give him 93 down so 144-146 is what I see.
High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!
Wouldn’t disagree with 4.5, but he may look a tad older in the fall. I would’ve guessed 5 from this one pic. Horn wise, we can’t see the full left side and still in velvet. Wild guess at mid 130s assuming right tines sync with left with the exception of a longer brow on the left. 88 down but mass could be heavier after shed. 47 up top.
If that is a Texas deer then I would say 5 minimum on age. To beefy in the shoulder, neck and head area for a younger buck this time of the year. Score wise I see around 96-98 on MB, mass and spread. Tines I am only seeing 42" give or take from that one pic. Nice buck no matter what he scores.
I'll bet he's at least 5 and ~140. Lotta chest, heavy in the back of the gut, sway in neck and back. Tine length is going to hold him back. Still a great buck-I'd probably shoot him!

I'd say he's probably closer to 4, but you'll get a better idea of his size/weight here in about a month or two. Does seem big bodied though - so could certainly be older just lean at this point.
Antler wise, really need a better picture(s).
